Zumenon

You should take Zumenon exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. The usual starting dose is 1 to 2 mg once daily. Your doctor may adjust the dose based on your individual response. Each Zumenon tablet contains estradiol hemihydrate equivalent to 1 mg or 2 mg of estradiol. The tablets also contain lactose monohydrate, maize starch, povidone, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, macrogol, talc, and red iron oxide (E172).

Common side effects of Zumenon may include headache, breast pain, irregular vaginal bleeding, and nausea. Serious side effects that require immediate medical attention include chest pain, sudden shortness of breath, vision changes, and signs of a blood clot (such as swelling, redness, or pain in the legs).

Do not take Zumenon if you have a history of blood clots, liver disease, or certain types of cancer. Avoid Zumenon if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
