The effects of Zoely last throughout the 28-day cycle. In case of vomiting or severe diarrhea within 3-4 hours of taking a tablet, use additional contraceptive measures. Common side effects of Zoely include headaches, nausea, breast pain, and changes in menstrual bleeding. Serious side effects that require immediate medical attention include chest pain, severe migraines, vision changes, and signs of a blood clot (e.g., swelling and pain in the legs).
Do not use Zoely if you have a history of blood clots, certain types of migraines, or liver disease. Zoely is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
