Zoely

Description

Zoely is a combined hormonal contraceptive pill that contains two active ingredients, nomegestrol acetate, and estradiol. It works by preventing ovulation, thickening the cervical mucus to make it harder for sperm to reach the egg, and thinning the lining of the uterus to prevent implantation. Zoely is suitable for women looking for an effective form of contraception that is taken orally.

Dosage and usage

You should take one tablet of Zoely once a day at the same time each day for 24 days, followed by a 4-day break without tablets. Remember to start each new pack on the same day of the week to maintain effectiveness. If you miss a dose, follow the instructions in the leaflet provided. The effects of Zoely last throughout the 28-day cycle. In case of vomiting or severe diarrhea within 3-4 hours of taking a tablet, use additional contraceptive measures. If you experience severe abdominal pain, chest pain, or shortness of breath, seek medical help.
