Yentreve

Description

Yentreve is a medication that contains the active ingredient duloxetine. It is used to treat stress urinary incontinence (SUI) in women. Yentreve works by increasing the levels of certain chemicals in your brain that help control your bladder function. It is suitable for women who experience SUI, which is the unintentional loss of urine when you laugh, cough, sneeze, or exercise due to weak pelvic floor muscles.

Dosage and usage

You should take Yentreve exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. The usual starting dose is 20 mg once daily. Your doctor may increase this to 40 mg once daily after two weeks based on your response. Swallow the capsules whole with water, with or without food. Do not crush or chew them. The effects of Yentreve may take a few weeks to be noticeable. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, but do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one. If you accidentally take too much Yentreve, contact your doctor or nearest hospital immediately.
