Dosage and usage

For adults and children over 4 years old, the usual dose is 1 to 2 puffs when needed to relieve symptoms. The maximum dose is 8 puffs in a 24-hour period. If you find that you need to use Ventolin more frequently than usual, or if it becomes less effective at relieving your symptoms, you should consult your healthcare provider. The effects of Ventolin typically last for 4 to 6 hours. If you experience worsening breathing difficulties or your inhaler does not help, seek medical assistance immediately.
