Vaniqa

Apply a thin layer of Vaniqa cream to the affected areas of your face and rub it in gently. You should use it twice a day, at least 8 hours apart. Do not wash the treated area for at least 4 hours after application. Results may be seen as early as 4-8 weeks of consistent use. If you forget a dose, just apply it when you remember, and continue with your regular schedule. There is no specific limit to the duration of use. If you experience any skin reactions, stop using the product and consult your healthcare provider.

Each gram of Vaniqa cream contains 11.5% eflornithine hydrochloride as the active ingredient. The excipients include ceteareth-20, cetearyl alcohol, dimethicone, glyceryl stearate, methylparaben, mineral oil, PEG-100 stearate, phenoxyethanol, propylparaben, stearyl alcohol, and water.

Common side effects of Vaniqa may include acne, stinging or burning of the skin, headache, hair bumps, dry skin, and itching. Serious side effects are rare but may include severe allergic reactions or worsening of skin conditions. If you experience any signs of an allergic reaction such as rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, or trouble breathing, seek medical help immediately.

Do not use Vaniqa if you are allergic to eflornithine or any other ingredients in the cream. Avoid contact with your eyes or any open wounds. Keep this product out of reach of children. If you have any skin conditions or are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using Vaniqa. If you are using any other facial products, wait at least 5 minutes after applying them before using Vaniqa.
