Dosage and usage

You should take Tamsulosin exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. The usual recommended dose is 400 micrograms once daily, preferably 30 minutes after the same meal each day. Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water; do not crush, chew, or open it. Make sure to follow your doctor's instructions carefully and do not exceed the recommended dosage. If you forget to take a dose, skip the missed dose and take the next one at the usual time. Do not double up on doses to make up for a missed one.

Each Tamsulosin capsule contains 400 micrograms of tamsulosin hydrochloride as the active ingredient. The capsule also includes additional components such as microcrystalline cellulose, methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer, polysorbate 80, and talc.
