Sildenafil

For most men, the recommended dosage of Sildenafil is 50mg taken approximately one hour before sexual activity. Depending on effectiveness and tolerance, the dosage can be increased to a maximum of 100mg or decreased to 25mg. Do not exceed one dose in a 24-hour period. If you experience an erection lasting more than four hours, seek immediate medical assistance.

Each Sildenafil tablet contains 50mg of sildenafil citrate as the active ingredient. The tablet also includes excipients such as microcrystalline cellulose, anhydrous dibasic calcium phosphate, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, lactose, triacetin, and FD & C Blue #2 aluminum lake.

Common side effects of Sildenafil may include headache, flushing, indigestion, and nasal congestion. Serious side effects that require immediate medical attention include priapism (prolonged erection), sudden vision or hearing loss, and severe allergic reactions.

Do not use Sildenafil if you are taking nitrates for chest pain or guanylate cyclase stimulators for pulmonary hypertension. Avoid this medication if you have severe heart or liver problems. Sildenafil is not intended for women or individuals under 18 years old.
