Description

The maximum recommended dose is 24 mg per day. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it's almost time for your next scheduled dose. In that case, skip the missed dose. If you have any concerns about your dosage, speak to your doctor. If you experience any unusual side effects or your symptoms worsen, contact your healthcare provider immediately.

Each Requip tablet contains ropinirole hydrochloride equivalent to 0.25 mg, 1 mg, 2 mg, 5 mg, or 8 mg of ropinirole. The tablets also include microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 400, 8000, and red and yellow iron oxides (E172).

Common side effects of Requip may include nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, and headache. Serious side effects that require immediate medical attention include hallucinations, severe dizziness, fainting, or mental/mood changes.
