For adults and children over 6 years old, the usual dosage is 1-4 inhalations twice a day. The maximum recommended dose is 8 inhalations per day. Remember, this medication is for inhalation use only.

Each dose of Pulmicort Turbuhaler contains budesonide (in doses of 100, 200, or 400 mcg) along with lactose monohydrate (which acts as a carrier) and small amounts of microcrystalline cellulose and magnesium stearate.

Common side effects may include sore throat, cough, or fungal infections in the mouth. Serious side effects like allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling), vision changes, or increased breathing difficulties should be reported to your healthcare provider immediately.

Do not use Pulmicort Turbuhaler if you are allergic to budesonide or any other ingredients. It is not suitable for acute asthma attacks. If you have tuberculosis, fungal, viral, or bacterial infections in your airways, consult your doctor before using this medication.
