Naramig

Description

Naramig is a medication that contains the active ingredient naratriptan. It belongs to a class of drugs called triptans, which work by narrowing blood vessels in the brain to relieve migraine headaches. Naramig is suitable for adults who experience migraines with or without aura.

Dosage and usage

For migraine relief, take one Naramig tablet (2.5 mg) as soon as you feel a migraine coming on. If needed, a second tablet can be taken after 4 hours, with a maximum dose of 5 mg in a 24-hour period. The effects of Naramig can last up to 24 hours. If your migraine persists or worsens, consult your healthcare provider.

Each Naramig tablet contains 2.5 mg of naratriptan as the active ingredient. The excipients include microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171), triacetin, and iron oxide yellow (E172).

Common side effects of Naramig may include dizziness, drowsiness, and nausea. Serious side effects such as chest pain, shortness of breath, or vision changes require immediate medical attention. If you experience an allergic reaction (e.g., rash, itching, swelling), seek prompt medical help.

Do not use Naramig if you have uncontrolled high blood pressure or a history of heart disease. Avoid Naramig if you are taking other migraine medications or have severe liver or kidney problems.
