Motens

Description

Motens is a medication that helps manage high blood pressure. It contains the active ingredient moxonidine, which works by relaxing and widening your blood vessels, making it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body. Motens is suitable for adults who need to control their high blood pressure levels.

Dosage and usage

You should take Motens exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. The usual starting dose is one 200 microgram tablet twice a day, in the morning and evening. Your doctor may adjust this dose based on your blood pressure response. The maximum recommended daily dose is 800 micrograms. It may take a few weeks for Motens to show its full effects. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it's almost time for your next dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule.
