Levest

Description

Levest is a combined oral contraceptive pill that contains two active ingredients: ethinylestradiol and levonorgestrel. This contraceptive works by preventing ovulation, thickening the cervical mucus to stop sperm from reaching the egg, and thinning the lining of the uterus to prevent implantation. It is suitable for women looking to prevent pregnancy.

Dosage and usage

You should take one Levest pill daily for 21 days, followed by a 7-day break before starting the next pack. Make sure to take the pill at the same time each day to maintain its effectiveness. If you forget to take a pill, follow the instructions in the leaflet provided. If you vomit within 2-3 hours of taking a pill, it may not be fully effective, so take another one. In case of persistent vomiting or severe diarrhea, use other contraceptive methods as backup.
