Fexofenadine

Description

Fexofenadine is an antihistamine that helps relieve symptoms of allergies such as sneezing, runny nose, and itchy/watery eyes. It works by blocking the action of histamine in the body, which is responsible for allergic reactions. This medication is suitable for adults and children over 12 years old who suffer from seasonal allergies like hay fever.

Dosage and usage

For adults and children over 12 years old, the usual dose is 120 mg once a day. You can take it with or without food. Do not exceed the recommended dose. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it's almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. The effects of Fexofenadine can last for 24 hours. If you experience any severe side effects like difficulty breathing or swelling of the face, seek immediate medical help.
