Differin

For best results, apply a thin layer of Differin gel to the affected skin area once a day, preferably in the evening after washing your face. Avoid applying it to broken, sunburned, or eczema-affected skin. Be patient as it may take a few weeks to see significant improvement. If you experience severe irritation, reduce frequency or discontinue use. Remember to use sunscreen during the day as adapalene can increase skin sensitivity to the sun.

Each gram of Differin gel contains 1 mg of adapalene as the active ingredient. Other components include carbomer 940, edetate disodium, methylparaben, poloxamer 124, propanediol, glycerin, polysorbate 80, propylene glycol, and purified water.

Common side effects of Differin may include dryness, redness, and itching at the application site. Serious side effects like severe burning, blistering, or crusting warrant immediate medical attention. If you experience an allergic reaction (e.g., rash, swelling, severe dizziness), seek medical help promptly.

Avoid using Differin if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Do not use it on sunburned, windburned, dry, chapped, irritated, or broken skin.
