Canesten Skin

For adults and children, apply a thin layer of Canesten Skin cream to the affected area two to three times daily. Make sure to wash and dry the affected area before applying the cream. You should continue to use the cream for a few days after the infection has cleared to make sure it doesn't return. If your symptoms persist or worsen after seven days of treatment, consult your doctor.

Each gram of Canesten Skin cream contains 10 mg of clotrimazole as the active ingredient. The cream also includes benzyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, cetyl palmitate, cetostearyl alcohol, and octyldodecanol as excipients.

Common side effects of Canesten Skin may include a mild burning or itching sensation at the application site. Serious side effects are rare but may include severe allergic reactions or skin irritation. If you experience any signs of an allergic reaction such as rash, swelling, or difficulty breathing, seek medical help immediately.

Do not use Canesten Skin if you are allergic to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients in the cream. Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, or mouth. If the cream is accidentally ingested, seek medical advice immediately. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using Canesten Skin.
