Adartrel

For restless legs syndrome, the typical starting dose of Adartrel is 0.25 mg taken once daily, 1-3 hours before bedtime. Your healthcare provider may adjust this dose gradually to achieve the best effect. The maximum recommended daily dose is 4 mg. It may take some time for Adartrel to show its full benefit, so be patient. If you forget a dose, take it when you remember unless it's almost time for your next dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule.

Each Adartrel tablet contains 0.25 mg, 1 mg, 2 mg, or 4 mg of ropinirole. Besides the active ingredient, the tablets also contain lactose monohydrate, maize starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, macrogol 400, titanium dioxide (E171), red iron oxide (E172), and yellow iron oxide (E172).

Common side effects of Adartrel may include nausea, dizziness, fatigue, and headache. However, some individuals may experience more serious side effects like hallucinations, severe drowsiness, or sudden irresistible sleep attacks. If you notice any signs of an allergic reaction such as rash, swelling, or difficulty breathing, seek immediate medical help.

Do not take Adartrel if you are allergic to ropinirole or any other ingredients in the tablets. This medication is not suitable for children or pregnant women. If you have heart problems, kidney disease, or are taking medications like antipsychotics, consult your doctor before using Adartrel.
